With the holidays and new year upon us, it is a valuable opportunity to reflect on the year behind, assess where we stand today and plan for the year ahead.

CDVAt ISOS Group, we're thankful for all the great people that surround us, from our team to our partners, our clients and you reading this today. Throughout the past few months, we took an opportunity to spread this love by supporting Corazon de Vida, an organization providing life-changing support for orphaned and abandoned children in Baja, Mexico. We visited the children and brought supplies to an orphanage in Baja (right), and participated in a fundraiser (left), committing to support Corazon de Vida.

We hope the holidays give you an opportunity to share time with your family, friends and loved ones and the new year brings you fresh energy and focus to keep fighting the good fight.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS &
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
- the ISOS Group Team

Third-Party Assurance:
How It Works

G4 to GRI Standards
Transition Support

G4 reports published after July 1, 2018, are no longer considered GRI-based reports.* In addition, GRI 303: Water and Effluents and GRI 403: Occupational Health and Safety have been revised.

Let us work with you to determine your organization's reporting needs and develop a road map for transitioning to the GRI Standards.

Integrated Reporting <IR>

If you haven't already, you're poised to hear more mention of Integrated Reporting <IR> in the sustainability reporting space. <IR>, a product of the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC), aims to better capture how capital (think human and natural capital, not just financial) passes through an organization to create value over time. <IR> developed the below graphic, also known as the '"octopus," to demonstrate this concept and guide practitioners through the thought process. You can find additional information and a larger version of the image by clicking the graphic below.

We'll be dedicating our January newsletter to <IR> and hosting our first certified training in New York in February. In the meantime, if you have any questions, please let us know!
